Characteristic and applications:

1. Polyethylene glycol monomethyl ether can be used in high-performance and high-strength (above C60) commercial concrete for field mixing and long-distance transportation.

2. Polyethylene glycol monomethyl ether is soluble in water, ethanol and organic solvent. It can be used as thickener in textile printing and dyeing industry and daily chemical industry.

3. Polyethylene glycol monomethyl ether has good water solubility, wettability, physiological inertia, no stimulation to human body, and is widely used in cosmetics and pharmaceutical industry. The viscosity, hygroscopicity and structure of the products can be changed by selecting products with different molecular weight. Products with relatively low molecular weight (molecular weight less than 2000) polyethylene glycol monomethyl ether are suitable for wetting agents and consistency regulators for cream, lotion, toothpaste and cream. MPEG products with relatively high molecular weight are suitable for lipsticks, deodorant sticks, soap, soapy soap, foundation and cosmetic products. In cleaning agent, it is also used as suspending agent and thickener.

4. In the pharmaceutical industry, it is used as the matrix of ointment, emulsion, ointment, lotion and suppository.

5. It is also the main raw material for the preparation of polycarboxylate superplasticizer.
